Problem With Multistore And Multidomains

Good morning,

I have a problem on my e-commerce site. I installed Prestashop 1.5.3 on a third level domain and I tried to setup a multistore configuration. The main website is working correctly, but I can't manage to make the other stores work.

 

Here's my configuration:

 

I set as URL for the main shop shop.domain1.com(where I installed Prestashop).

I set as URL for the second shop shop.domain2.com.

 

Both domain1 and domain2 are hosted on Plesk.

 

Which operations should I do, on Plesk and in Prestashop backend, to fix my problem?

with Plesk you set an alias of domain2 to domain1

 

make sure to clear your browser cache and cookies before testing

Thanks a lot, I've solved that problem.

Now there is still something to fix: in the second store, it doesn't load the modules in their position, even though they're set correctly in "Modules Position" page... I can't understand why!

Hi there, I have the same problem but Im using sphere. Ive tried setting domain2.com up as an alias as domain1.com but when I type domain2.com into the browser it just comes up with domain1.com (in the url as well)

 

Any Ideas?

Hi there,

I have a problem with Multistore configuration.

 

I have two domains:

 

domain1.com (Main domain)

domain2.com

 

When I type www.domain1.com into the browser it works fine, it redirects to domain1.com (no www)

When I type domain2.com into the browser it works fine.

However, when I type www.domain2.com into the browser it redirects to domain1.com

 

I need www.domain2.com to redirect to domain2.com

 

Any suggestions?
