[SOLVED] Prestashop 1.5.3.1 Currency block issue!

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I had the common issue where the block was displaying the Euro currency even if i tried to select the other currencies enabled!

I have uninstalled the module and reinstalled and didnt work..i have then reset the module and the currency now appears erroneously just over my categories section completely misplaced on the left column of the website as seen in the attached file!

Please Help!

Thanks

did you try changing position? header of pages?

in a default 1530 install it's in position 13

but I know that on one test shop I have the same problem...and sort of gave up on it because, well it was a test shop

I don't get the option to move it in liveedit.. which file should i attempt to edit to move its position? thanks,. you can see it if you visit www.techballoon365.com hover over currency and the drop down appears on the right column!

I have the same problem of currency block and language block not showing at front office

at the back office left bar hover on module then click position
then go to displayheader to transplant currency block & language block to the displayNav

Go to left bar click on Localization then click on it
select the country you want its details
then check currency & language
then uncheck others you dont need
then click save
then refresh your FO then it will appear

open config.inc.php

find these lines

if (defined('APS')) {

    $cookie->id_currency = Configuration::get('PS_CURRENCY_DEFAULT');

}

add // as below

//if (defined('APS')) {

    //$cookie->id_currency = Configuration::get('PS_CURRENCY_DEFAULT');

//}

adding the // in the lines above solved my issue
