Problem:

 

1. I am setting up a new site and on the Configuration Page there is a large list of: Missing files -1

and Updated files....650 of them! Where can I get help?

 

2. What is the best way for a total novice like me to get help setting up my page? I have a template and business plan ready to implement but the technical part is intimidating. Is the Essential Tech Support program the way to go?

 

Questions:

 

1. I need to set up multi sellers/shops, where sellers will be able to log on, add their items and then customers can order and pay them directly via Paypal. Is MultiStore able to work this way? I will be collecting a monthly fee to list and will not be taking a percentage of sales.

 

Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer tips/direction.

Can you take a screen shot of the files in the config section? As far as getting the shop up and running, if you are not a technical person, you might want to pay someone to do it.

 

Your question about multi shop, that is not how it is intended to work. You would need 3rd party modules to get that functionality. If you don't get much feedback from a post...it's best to review your original post as it's either to vague or does nto have enough detail. Or to many question in one post, which is this post.

 

Problems

re. 1. delete the install and db, do it again until it works, do not start out debugging the install

 

2. do number 1, then work with the default theme until you are comfortable with the platform. Then go theme shopping.

 

questons:

1. do 1. under problems...then search for Agile, they have a module for this...
