[solved] Unable to load Backend and Website

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

I'm a Prestashop newbie, so bear with me on this one :P.

This is the situation. I can't seem to be able to load onto the backend or prestashop website anymore. This only occurs when i use my home internet connection. When i am at work or at friends, there seems to be no problem at all.

If i try to go to www.websitename/backend the page keeps loading without any result or giving me the standard faultcode "check your internet connection...etc".

Can someone help me out please? Don't want to sit at a Starbucks every time i have to work on my webshop :).

Thanks in advance guys & girls,

Sam

seems like Starbucks hacked your wifi and your only hope is use the WIFI of starbucks and drink a lot of cofee :P

But, you can try clear all browser cache in your house, or try to rename que admin folder and login again

Thanks! I'll try clearing all browser cache. If that doesn't work i'll find out how to rename the admin folder and do that too! :D.

PS: I'm at a Starbucks now... :P

maybe the problem is with network connection from your home? ;)

I have no idea Vekia. What does that mean/do about it? :D

Going to other websites is not an issue. Just Prestashop won't work... :(

Sorry, i'm really new at this :). But it's nice that you guys help me out! Geniuses! :)

try to ping your website right from your computer and home network connection.

if you're using windows OS click on start and open CMD.exe (command).

type there ping yourdomain.com -t and check what's going on. Paste it here if you don't understand what you get ;)

clear your browser cache, exactly as shacker said

belgon.be is your hosting provider? ;)

here's info about flushing DNS cache in MAC: http://osxdaily.com/...he-in-mac-os-x/

hope it helps in this case

Sure, for reboot router you can turn it off for a while :)

Hi Stacker & Vekia,

I found out what was wrong. The host provider (which i'm leaving from now on :D) had blocked my IP address... :) That was the cause :). Just wanted to let you guys know and thanks for the assistance!

You'll defininetely hear from me again :D

Sam
