Fedex Module - no more Webservices - Does it work?

Hi

I have setup UPS in my shop and am now trying the Fedex Module. The link in the module to "Please click here to get your Fedex Authentication Key." takes you to a web page on the FEDEX site that no longer exists.

I logged on to FEDEX manually and got a test key, meter number, password and account. When I try them in the module it says Prestashop could not connect to FEDEX webservices :

Error 1000 : Authentication Failed

 

Which I am assuming is because it no longer is going to the right place or using the right interface but I could be wrong.

 

Any help would be appreciated. I am using 1.5.2 with a default theme.

OK so I figured out that the module does not work with a test key but only with a production key from FEDEX. That fixed my issue with authentication. But now it comes up with errors about the service being selected. tried various options without much luck I get errors like:

Error 868 : Service is not allowed.

 

or

Fedex Webservice seems to be down, please wait a few minutes and try again

 

depending on the options I choose for the service.

At the top of the configuration do you have all green check marks or are there some yellow traingles.

I had an issue with the FedEx module because my host does not support PHP Soap which is required to use FedEx module.

No they are all green checked except item 3 which gives the different errors like:

3) Webservice test connection : Fedex Webservice seems to be down, please wait a few minutes and try again.

Additionally if I choose "Your Packaging" in the packaging type of the module the error is

3) Webservice test connection : Error 868 : Service is not allowed.

 

In fact thats the error with most packaging except 10kg and 25kg Fedex box which give the other error message.

 

Any clues?

That because I have an international fedex account not a domestic fedex account I am getting that error because to module is checking that I can send domestically. But I dont want to use Fedex for domestic shipping. I have a different carrier for domestic shipping.

Is there any way to get the FEDEX module to only check for international shipments? Is this a setting in the module, in its source, or in Prestashop itself somewhere? surely its possible to only use fedex for international shipments, no? In fact with other shippers I have an international account and a domestic account and they are different numbers.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I have now deleted all the services from FEDEX in the module that are not allowed per my account and still I get the same error.

I know its connecting OK because if I change any account details I get different errors about authentication, so the Fedex module is connecting and verfiying correctly but just keeps coming back with Service not allowed.

FEDEX Module does not work for UK

OK, So I have determined that the Prestashop FEDEX module does not work for International Accounts for addresses outside North America (unless someone can prove me wrong) because the module always checks if it can ship to the shippers address which is impossible with an international account. If I say I am based in the US then it configures without any issues but as soon as I change my address back to the UK then it doesn't work.

 

Any fix would be highly desireable.
