Everything seemed to go ok, but now after viewing with good ole IE the site is simply not viweing properly at all. It views fine in all browsers, just not IE. My new server temp domain is: http://74.117.145.119/~tooters Can someone please help with this. Its really disturbing!! Thank you so much ahead for your time. jmaybes
Got it sorted. And Im sure someone will face this issue in the future. So.. Be careful manually editing tpl files and saving them as it can trigger them to throw off its DOCTYPE. If this happens IE will be put in quirks mode thus throwing off the look of your page. Cheers! jmaybes
Hi, vekia .. Problem no longer as was able to find my error and fix it. But thanks so much. And clayton29657, Im not sure of your particular problem but In my case I had manually edited one of my themes tpl files. Category.tpl to be exact. I used some invalid code which actually threw off the files DOCTYPE. So IE was pulling up my site in quirks mode. What I did was reupload the original file from my local themes folder. So if you have done any manually editing of your files, try replacing them with the original and start over. You can also check out the thread here for much more info: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/152217-solved-css-quirk-mode/ Thats the best I can offer!
