[SOLVED] Voucher codes for user groups (1.3.6)

Hi, I am currently using Prestashop v 1.3.6.

 

In the latest version 1.4.x of Prestashop, there is a feature in vouchers/coupon codes that lets you choose which user group can use which discount.

 

For example:

I have 2 user groups:

1) Retail customers (who purchase at regular prices)

2) Wholesale clients (who buy in bulk for a 50% discount)

 

I currently have a 10% discount that I let ANYONE use.

 

What I need done is to prevent the Wholesale clients user group from using the additional 10% discount, as they already get a 50% automatically.

 

Upgrading to the latest version is absolutely not an option at this point.

 

Please let me know if you're willing to help with a workaround!

hi there, I can certainly create a tactical solution that would prevent the wholesale group from using pre-defined vouchers. if you can send me a PM with some additional details (ie.. how many vouchers would not apply to the wholesale group), we can discuss next steps.

I need a similar solutions. I used 1.3.6 and with voucher activation. I created a free shipping voucher for minimum order amount of $100 and above. This voucher is only applicable for local customer. I can group all my existing customers under that 'Local' group and the voucher should work with charms. How to go about fixing the codes? I knew 1.4 has this feature but I'm not ready to migrate to 1.4 just yet. Any advice?
