Hi,

 

I'm a complete novice at all this...would someone please assist me with the following:

 

Error while inserting data in the database:

'SET NAMES \\\'utf8\\\''

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near \'\\\'utf8\\\'\' at line 1(Error: : 1064)

 

 

And I'm using Linux based hosting.

check if the version of mysql and php of your host is the requiered for prestashop
