3 column template-Products only populate 2 columns

Recommended Posts

Im using a template I purchased, It has 3 columns but products in 90% of sub-categories are loading to 2 columns, and in some sub-categories a random product will go to the 3rd column, no matter how they are sorted. The sorting will not affect the fact that they go mostly to 2 columns.

Can someone please help? Thank you!

I have asked for help from the site that sold it to me for over a week, but they have not replied.

By the way Mike, how do I find the 2 other posts I made about other topics. I thought my profile screen would list my topics/posts etc. But I dont see a way to find all this info on one screen. Yesterday was my first day here and its great! In fact I didnt know you answered me until I searched through the forums for an answer again.

Hi guys and thanks for your speedy reply! I purchased the template from http://prestadesigner.com/

Here is my store in progress...homegoodsoutlet.com (The name of the theme is called furniture store. It was only $19.)

Thanks, Diane

I took a look at the site, and it display correctly for me. I'm using Firefox 12. This might be a browser related issue, what browser are you using?

Thanks a bunch guys!! You've help me discover what Ive been waiting over a week to hear from the developer about.

It WAS a brouser related issues. Ironically guys. the problem I was having showed itself on Firefox 12, but NOT on Safari or Chrome, just like Mike said. Bazze said it worked fine for him there. That's bizzare. I can't get it to look right on Firefox 12. I will look further into it, and let you know what I discover.

Any ideas on why the product images are off center or left justified (except on home "featured" products page)? Is that something I fix on the global, or product css? (I already posted that question)

You guys have been wonderful! Thanks so much!!

Diane

Hi Diane,

I'm glad we could help you, and if you clear your browser cache in FF12, you should see that everything looks fine.

As for your off-center images, the issue is just that the photos you've uploaded do not follow the exact aspect ratio expected of this theme, so it is justified left along with the text below it due to the way it is coded.

To override this, please locate your theme's /modules/block_content/block_content.css file, and past the following at the end of the file:

.product_image { display: block; text-align: center; }

I hope this helps.
