rentallease
I recently was booted from plimus for selling legal forms and am new to selling downloads (although I have my law degree and can make legal forms). Is there a way to use prestashop for my sites? (My sites is http://rentalleaseagreement.com)
Dh42
Sure, instead of having physical products with prestashop you can also sell digital products. When a customer buys your product, they can log into there account and download the product. You can set the product to time out after a certain date or after a certain number of downloads. El Patron
In addition to designhaus42 excellent point, when a person buys one of your digital products, they also receive a professional looking email with the down load link.
Mike Kranzler
Hi rentallease, To expand on elpatron and designhaus' explanations, this is very easy to do by default in PrestaShop. When you add a new product to the catalog, just check the box for "Is this a downloadable product?" to open the download-specific product options, including uploading the file and setting restrictions. I hope this helps. -Mike
