Add fields to product page (PS v1.3.1.1)

Hi guys

 

I sell DVDs and Blu-Ray programmes, and sometimes a programme comes both as DVD and as Blu-Ray. I have to write manually that the other version exists and put a link on it.

 

I would like to add three properties to my product page back end:

 

1) Checkbox for "Also available as Blu-Ray"

2) Checkbox for "Also available as DVD"

3) Input field for the product ID

 

On the product page I need to put this somewhere as a text with a link to the product page.

 

If checkbox 1 eq dvd then write "bla bla dvd"

if checkbox 2 qe bluray then write "bla bla bluray"

 

Does this make any sense?

why not using product combinations?

 

add the movie as a single product, and then give the user a choice to select DVD or Bluray? There can be a price difference and different pictures based on the selected option.
