MUSN
Hi! My new webshop are in 4 different languages. I now have problem to translate my modules. In the backoffice it's says that's everything are okey but nothing happens in the webshop when I update a phrase. Then when I go back to the backoffice I don't see my changes, the fields are still empty. Before this I give all language files (example fi.php) 777 permissions. That's really frustrating because it's worked good before I go to live mode and changed the file permission to more strict for the complete shop. If you have a good solution, please help me! Mike Kranzler
Hi MUSN, Assuming you've already translated everything in each module in your Back Office under Tools > Translations > Modules Translations, can you please enable Force Compile under Preferences > Performance and let me know if the issue remains? -Mike

toutelle
Hello together I have the same problem. First I enter translations, then I save. Afterwards the message appears showing everything to be saved ok, but when i go there again and check, the translations are away and on the BO of the module, there's nowhere a single changed word. (using 1.4.3 and trying to translate the "Module Free Newsletter", which is in french and which I need in german). toto
fateloso
Hi. I'm having the same problem. I'm actually making a few changes to the English language in the PayPal module through the BO - Translations - Modules. After updating and returning to translations, all is blank again. I guess it is not saving. Any help? Thank you. Miguel
fateloso
Hi. I got my issue solved. Since I was only having this problem with the PayPal module, I just copied all the content from one other language (pt.php) to the language I wanted to make changes (en.php) and then made all the translations. It is pretty easy since you can still find the original text on the left column in BO - Translations - Modules and can copy+paste. After having all the translations done directly in the file, all of them appeared on the BO fields. I don't believe this is a regular procedure but if you're having this issue in one module only (it's a pretty tedious and boring procedure) you can get it fixed. Hope this helped.
