shipping cost per product number

thats a good work around, so instead of defining real weights for each product, you defined weight ranges for each product group, and then set the product weight equal to the associated weight range.

So how do you deal with these scenarios?

Scenario 1

Product 1 has a weight of 5, which is assigned to the weight range that cost "sum1".

Product 2 has a weight of 10, which is assigned to the weight range that cost "sum2".

The customer buys product 1 and product 2. The sum of the weights is 15. What weight range is used? It would not be "sum1" or "sum2".

Scenario 2

Product 1 has a weight of 5, which is assigned to the weight range that cost "sum1".

Product 2 has a weight of 10, which is assigned to the weight range that cost "sum2".

The customer buys 2 of product 1. The sum of the weights is 10. Prestashop will automatically use the "sum2" weight range. Is that expected?

Scenario1: when you edit a carrier there's an option for "Out-of-range" orders. Here you can chose to disable the shipping or to chose the highest shipping costs.

Scenario2: yes, sum2 should be calculated for the shipping.
