Mike Kranzler
Hi Happy King, Can you please try disabling caching at the very bottom of the Preferences > Performance page and let me know if that speeds up your site at all? I would prefer to run a series of speed tests on your page, but I can't do so unless you completely activate your site, even if its just for a few minutes. -Mike
ddoan2007
I am exactly in the same boat, Bluehost etc... and experiencing the same slow speed of opening page. Before I contact Bluehost tech support, can you share any tips on what might be the problem. Thanks. Lovec(cz)
Hi, I have basicly the same problem with identical settings in my store. I also started new topic here: http://www.prestasho...e-loading-time/ , so you can check, if anybody answers in my topic or I'll let you know, if anything comes up! jhnstcks
Looking at the reviews for Bluehost I would say it isn't a Prestashop fault but a hosting problem. Basically they have overloaded their server (probably not even their server more likely a reseller account) and now the server can't cope with the huge demand. Take a look at http://webhostinggeeks.com/user-reviews/bluehost/
Mike Kranzler
Hi everybody, In this situation, I would definitely recommend that you consider switching to HostGator, my personal favorite hosting provider. Additionally, by using the link I provided, you can get a preferred rate for signing up with PrestaShop. I hope this helps. -Mike
