password renew cannot work!

Hi Presta users!

 

I use PS 1.4.1.0 and my customers told me that my password.php cannot work as I desired!

 

If I want to renew my forgotted password, there is an error message:

 

  1. There is no account registered to this e-mail address.

 

 

But of course the email is registered!!!

 

What could be the problem???

hi, this problem can be encountered when the user has a guest account (password is not registered). If it's this way, you can try to transform the user into a real account and you should solve your problem ;-) OR it could be an issue related to a fresh install: remember that you have to backup your old COOKIE KEY into config/settings.inc.php to be able to login and work as usual with your customers...hope this helps
