This functionnality has been disabled - Preferences after update

Recently updated from 1.4 to 1.4.6.2

 

On Preferences I get a section of the preferences missing with "This functionnality has been disabled." I have looked up PrestaShop forums and this was the best answer I came up with: http://textpattern.c...ecurity-reasons

 

Is it really the host company which is blocking functionality or is it something else?

I have exactly the same problem. My site is actually only on localhost, not online. But the problem is still the same. Where can I change the security settings?

Well, I found the problem by myself. I deleted this line in the defines.inc.php by coïncidence: define('_PS_MODE_DEMO_', false);

All the two lines has to be there:

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

define('_PS_MODE_DEMO_', false);

Update: I didn't copy the updated config folder over to the host on my upgrade - answers this easily!

i update the files preferences end employees in the path admin100---tabs. and seems problem is solved

After moving my site with a different domain I was having the same error. ( " Bu işlev devredışı bırakıldı " - in Turkish)

I changed the configs possibly for an other problem and forget it.

It was blocking all the superadmin user rights. And I was not able to reach the modules to edit.

 

Now the problems are solved. Thanks so much.
