Installing Theme

_{I need kind assistance in installing my theme and the modules i purchased on prestashop.}

You can use the Theme installer feature in the BO.

 

Personally, I prefer to install via FTP.

 

If your theme is a single file just upload into your /themes folder.

 

However, many themes have an additional folder/s. If you have folders for example:

 

mytheme

modules

 

then copy the mytheme folder into /themes and modules into /modules

 

Make sure the folder permissions are correct. Go to your BO Preferences>Appearance and you should see your new theme listed. Go ahead and switch to that theme.

 

In the case that the theme was supplied with a modules folder, you can now see these in your BO under Modules tab. You may have to install these and then hook them into the relevant columns.

 

Additionally, on a purchase theme there should be a .txt file in the package with installation instructions.
