barry_k Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 hi, I have a problem with my front page for some reason I am getting a question mark on my images on the featured products section. When I click into the product itself I can see the image as normal. Seems the problem is with the featured products itself. Does anyone know how to fix this? Dave L Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 A question mark in the place of an image usually indicates that the image is missing from it's folder. Right click on the question mark and have a look at the image properties. This should indicate the location of the folder that the image should be in. It should be something like /img/p/3/7/37-home.jpg Check the /img folder permissions, it should be writeable (755 or 777) along with all it's sub-folders. If the permissions were wrong and you have corrected them you may have to use the Re-generate Thumbnail feature to restore them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
barry_k Posted October 2, 2011 Author Share Posted October 2, 2011 When I right click I just get the link to the 404.gif image but when I inspect it using opera dragonfly I find this <img src="http://127.0.0.1/prestashop/51-home_small/2m-mains-cable.jpg" alt="3M Mains Cable"> this doesnt make sense since there is no /prestashop/51-home_small/ folder I have cleared the cache and regenerated thumbnails but it still has the problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
