ifontal Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Every time I edit a carrier its ID is increased, like when you add a new one. This causes that when I edit the carrier it comes down to last position in the list. Now, I have only 3 carriers, but ID it's on number 46... When you edit a carrier, we use the deleted flag but we keep the old one in database (for history), it just not appears in your back office. In this way, the changes will only impact new orders.Look at the carrier table in phpMyAdmin, you will understand.Regards, By Fabien Serny from first result for search "prestashop carrier change id" in Google. But for managing carrier position you could do feature request. I managed to make modification that works but solution is not great as it involves modifying core files. I'll post in feature request, because I think there should be a tool to manage the order of the list, and delete old flags to the ID does not increase out of control.
