I've got the same problem. I want to replace 'Stores' with 'Retailers'.

Tried replacing all the text strings I can find but text still doesn't change on the page.

I probably shouldn't have looked around your site while I was in work Ladyred...!

Anyone out there who can solve this mystery?

Hi,

Did you force the compilation in preferences>perfomance ?

Did you also set the cache to no ?

And finally try to clear your browser cache.

Still "Stores"?

Thank you ever so much Carl for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. Even with my experience in computing and programming I need help like we all do. There's no shame in admitting it either.

Anyways solved my crisis and a few other ones in the process so cheers!

Thanks

Gareth

Hi musman2, glad I could help :).

ladyred : I often need help too and you are absolutely right, there is no shame in not knowing something and admitting it ! On the contrary!

Glad that your problems are solved too :).

Have updated the contacts form to look better. Adding more features as we speak. Googlemaps and images added at moment as well as edited text etc. Being added is disable user features etc. Will release a module for this soon. Please take a look if you wish.

Here it is http://ladyred.org/contact-form.php

Bear in mind it is work in progress!

Guys,

Why would you change .tpl files and stuff for this. Why not use the Front Office Translations and/or Module Translations.

At least the if you upgrade prestashop in the future you can just export your translations and re-import to the new version, and you don't have to try remember which files you changed and where they are after an upgrade.

Because prestashop doesnt facilitate the option to add objectcs and futher text other than just translate text etc. Have a look at my new contacts page and im sure you'll see what i mean.

Hi All,

I believe the path is <>\themes\default-bootstrap\modules\blockcms\translations\en.php. Open file search for 'our stores' and change it to 'Our Hotel'.

Make sure the do forcing compilation after you make changes.

Regards,

Vipin
