rassy Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Hi guys, now this is really really strange. My local development MAMP setup (Xamp style apache under Osx) also got infected with the her.php. I am developing since just a few weeks and the MAMP has not be online all the time and STILL: The virus found me. How can that happen? Portscan? I mean - it MUST have been a portscan as there is NO URL being directed to me localhost MAMP. Or is there a plugin which pings some unkown hacking group? More importantly: HOW DO I SECURE MY LOCAL MAMP SETUP? Right no I have not taken any steps to secure the setup. It would be cool to get some specific tips about to secure the Mamp setup.
