XGhozt
I'm very curious to know how others actually ship their products? From my understanding, the customer pays the (dynamic or fixed) shipping cost, then the staff purchase a shipping label and send the product. Is there a more efficient way to handle this using PrestaShop?
BWT
You can set a flat rate handling and shipping price but depending on what your shipping it may end up casting you more then you have charged unless you have all the same size and weight product. Then you can figure it out and set then as a flat rate.

Mike Kranzler
Hi XGhozt, You will need to handle shipping for yourself, although you can create accounts with UPS, FedEx and others, and arrange for daily or weekly pick-ups with them if needed so that you don't have to keep running between your store and their nearest shipping locations. -Mike
lizxfonse
Is there a more efficient way to handle this using PrestaShop? That is exactly what I was looking for ... we currently have stores on several platforms, one is OsCommerce, another is Yahoo Stores and another is Amazon, they are all nicely integrated into shipworks. I could not find anywhere if Prestashop integrates with shipworks. The shipworks software connects to your store, whatever it may be, downloads all orders, addresses, weights etc... and then the staff in shipping dept creates a shipping label by click of a button using whichever ship method(s) you have configured in shipworks and it also notifies the customers of the ship method and tracking numbers, and finally it posts the order shipped status online. Mike Kranzler
Hi everybody, The closest module we have created already doesn't integrate with any external shipping platforms, but it does generate the address labels pretty easily. It's not completely what it sounds like you're looking for, but hopefully, it's a start: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/shipping-logistics/2151-deliverylabels.html -Mike
