tony09uk
Hi, i'm new to presentashop so I apologies for asking what are possibly stupid questions. It's a simple one....(although I obviously am to thick to work it out lol).....how do I set up a second store. So far I have been content with typing in http://localhost/prestashop/admin1/ to get to my dashboard, but this won't work if I have a second store will it, and defiantly won't allow me to set up a second store. shokinro
you should be able to install as many stores as you needed.if you know hwo to configure your website, then try to use alias and virtual configuration.if you are not familiar with that. you can just use following structure.http://localhost/store1/http://localhost/store2/...http://localhost/store5/
pmdcp
I have the same issue....I already installed /localhost/store1/ and /localhost/store2 In that way I will have 2 separate 2 stores and 2 separates admin. But is it possible to share the customer database between the stores?I'm asking it because I will have diferent products that I don´t want to show in the same store. Or is it possible to have in the same database all the products and the customers, and the buyer will choose what kind of products he will buy and would be directed to that store?Thankspmdcp
shokinro
I think it is possible to share one database among different store as long as they have same domain names(with different store folder).but there might be a little problem if they have different domain names.because the domain name used to generate links are saved in database. so if you share the some database. it will always redirect the one domain.
