"Could not perform action update for module undefined"

Greetings, I've noticed that when there's two or more module updates available I can update the first in the list fine. But then when I click "Upgrade" on the second in the list, a message appears at the top (toast message) with a red background, that has: "Could not perform action update for module undefined". Without reloading the page*.

Then after I reload the page, the first one that was in the list that was updated disappears, and I can then update the new first one in the list. (which was previously second in the list) But when I try to update the next one in the list, the same error message appears at the top right. "Could not perform action update for module undefined".

Then I have to reload the page again, and then I can update the last in the list. (of three at this time)

Thank you, Shalom

Greetings @ComGrafPL No I have not tried manual update, but this is just a bug for updating the modules. I can still update them, I just have to reload the page each time one finishes updating, that's the bug which should be addressed for the new Prestashop version. Also my website is set up for PHP 8.3.28. I'm not sure why the Prestashop is showing 7.3.33.

Thank you, Shalom

It looks like the issue happens because the page doesn’t refresh the module list after each update. When you update the first module, the system doesn’t properly reload the data, so the next module shows as “undefined” when you try to upgrade it. That’s why the update only works after you manually refresh the page.

This is most likely a small bug in how the update list is being refreshed. A quick fix for now is to refresh the page after each module update. But the development team should update the UI so it automatically reloads the list after every upgrade, preventing the “module undefined” error.

Hope this helps!
