Hi guys, we, who need to perform PS with translation into different language then English is, for the couple of times face with continually changing translation back to default after update of some module. e.g. I translate something in back office of PS to my language and to fit my needs, nevertheless after update of some module, this translation return back to default one that was uploaded at the beginning of installation of PS. My question is - do you know how to DISABLE any change regarding translation?

I always receive the following error message: 2 errors When extracting the module there has been an error (the file may be corrupted) Module homefeatured can't be upgraded: Do I have to change the file permissions? What are the correct permissions for files and folders? Anything else I can do? Thanks, Peter

Has default theme been updated at all? I used many different versions of presta 1.5 and every single one had modules' .tpl files different than their equivalents in /themes/default/modules/. Same thing with 1.5.6.2. So which files are newer/better: in /modules or in /themes/default/modules ? I'm pretty sure mails were not updated as some of them (at least for polish language) still have colors hardcoded instead of using {color} variable and this was applied in presta years ago. Also I'd like to suggest to presta developers to insert file's/module's version numbers or at least last modification date in .tpl files. After installation of a new shop I always overwrite default theme's .tpl files with equivalents from main modules directory but honestly I don't know if I'm upgrading or downgrading my theme.

Hi I thought I had a small problem when I updated a background image and it didn't show up after updating by FTP. I checked the cache and all is ok. Today I tried to change another image within a module and this wil not update either. It seems I can't make any changes. The FTP transfer is ok and the files look fine both local and serveur side...... Can anyone please tell me what may be causing this and what I can do to fix it? I'm on 1.5.6.2 Thanks

Our existing site needs some light updating and fixing of modules - and we believe may need some back end cleaning up. We estimate about 25-35 hours for the initial stage (2 weeks), and after that would like to have someone we can work with on an ongoing basis (approx. 10 hours per week of maintenance as needed). We are running the last upgrade (not 1.5.5.0 - the release just before). We are located in Southern California, and would ask that you are located in the United States - it makes it easier for us to communicate with you.

The problem: The changes I make in my theme css or any other places for the design (tpl, etc) doesn't show up on the website. I make the changes on the files locally, then I upload and overwrite through FileZilla onto the server, go check the website and nothing happened. I have noticed that the changes sometimes show up later on, when I come back to the website after a longer while. I'm not sure where the problem lies. But I cannot fix the design by waiting that long for each update to actually show up. :/ Some of the things I have tried during the past few days: - F5 and refresh (ofc) - Clearing browser cache - Clearing Prestashop cache - I have the Smarty cache disabled and the template cache on force compilation - Re-installing FileZilla - Tried on different computer - Changing permissions of the files - I also tried using something in .htacess someone wrote in a forum to prevent the server from caching. - Also tried using a prevention from caching through php above the header (through something I read in forum also) Thank you so much for your time. Could really use some help with this. :/

Hola! GRACIAS!!! Un saludo
