Track
Hello everyone. When our shop was on 1.6, the attributes and combination generator was quick and easy to use. But that feature seems to have been removed on the 1.7 platform. I must be missing something, because you can't seriously be expected to enter individual prices for every combination? Looking forward to being schooled on this because like I said before, I must be missing something. Thank you!

Knowband Plugins
Can you please explain the issue? Price can directly be edited from the Combination tab.
Track
Please allow me to be more specific. When you added attributes in 1.6 you also gave the attributes a price as you created that attribute. Once all your attributes had prices you could select the attributes that you required and the combination generator would then calculate the price combinations automatically. Here's a link to another thread in Core Developers, asking the same question in 2017. The last post on that thread was about 3yrs ago and it was still unresolved. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/619870-attributes-and-combination-generator-in-ps-17/
Knowband Plugins
Checked the PS1.6 feature that you have mentioned. Sorry, but that feature is not available now. You have to enter the price of each combination. You can search for any bulk price updater module for the same. Addons have the module to update the prices of the items in bulk using a CSV file. Do you agree with the running opinion that version 1.6 was the better option?
QuickUpdate.net
Prestashop went with removing useful features starting from v1.6, actually they removed even some basic things that were available in previous versions.
Daresh
To be fair, also many features got added. And a whole bunch of new hooks streamlining module development and allowing to achieve things that were only possible in 1.6 in a very dirty ways. It's simple, yet it requires careful calculation and complexity. Pricing a combination is easy to grasp, but the process can be time-consuming.
