GoDaddy not good for Prestashop 8.1

Recommended Posts

We had GoDaddy for years (+10) and we may be coming to an end of this relationship as they denied us to whitelist a link from our domain from the MODSecurity, hence, we cannot run some add ons we purchased from the official Prestashop store.

The developers have mentioned it doesn't matter if we are on shared hosting as many hosting providers offer this option with shared hosting plans. including his, where the demo of the add on is running. So, good bye Godaddy and heads up for eveybody looking to whitelist add ons from MODSecurity.

They used to allow it but corporate greed got in the way and all they want is money, why enable for free when they can simply charge for it right?

regards,

AJ
