Remove text on checkout page

I want to remove the "Optional" text that appears after the "Show" button since the word is listed twice.

I cannot figure out which file to edit to remove this text.

On the customer-form.tpl, I found where the text that appears above it to create an account, but it doesn't include the Optional text that appears after the "Show" button.

Does someone know which file to edit?

Have you tried to just hide it in custom.css?
