I just realised how very difficult it is to run PrestaShop!!! Can anyone tell me how to delete a subcategory? Absolutely frustrated already with this software.  I keep seeing look for (Prefence>) to find edits for somethings but there is no Module in my admin called Prefence!!!

To delete a sub-category, simply click on the name of the parent category, which will display its children

Is the admin account you are using is a super admin? May be your role does not have permission for "Preferences"

just disable it, I do not recommend deleting anything, when  displaying you can set to display enabled only.

remember, never delete anything

you can always hire an agency to build your shop so you can concentrate on selling....

My profile says SuperAdmin but i still cannot any reference to "Preferences" anywhere in the Dashboard so where should this be?

Preferences is nowadays called Shop Parameters.
