Thank you Mike, just this author does have just basic solution and he does not have any plans for updated version.

So I am still looking for additional XML import/export solutions.

And it is really strange to find out, that there only one (1) XML solution for over 100,000 shops. I must be missing something...

Hi Ize,

Ive used the default import tool to import over 2000 products at a time, into 15 different categories, with images. You can use excel or notepad to convert your XML file into csv and then proceed with importing via the prestashop admin import tool.

However if you need to update your existing products, because you receive an xml update from your supplier on a daily / weekly basis. Then there are 2 solutions which i researched about a year ago, here are the details:

1) http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/56689-module-fast-csv-or-xml-import-of-thousands-products-in-a-few-seconds/page__st__200__p__673482#entry673482

2) http://www.prestashop.com/forums/user/78446-mrbaseball34/

(Contact this member, he provided me a custom solution based on my needs. I didnt end up using it, however he was on the right track.)

I hope this helps.

Cheers!
