  1. @spanishcivilwarstamps, Thank you for the link. It saves us from wasting any more transactions. For four days we have been crying for help everywhere, including at the developer's ( 202 commerce ), without any effect. We have tried in vain to search for a link to access a backward version. Somehow Prestashop has hidden them. It turns out that we are saved by a posting by a peer user. Gracia
  2. The PayPal module version 3.10.6 is the EU module and is supposed to work with most countries other than north America and UK etc. We are in HK and tried to install any other version in vain. Yet this version can never be activated because after you fill up all the needed credentials it always gives you this error message: You need to complete the PayPal identification Information in step 3 otherwise you won't be able to accept payment. I have no idea how many carts have been abandoned because we can't take PayPal directly. We have to ask people to pretend to be paying by Bank Transfer and send them PayPal payment request separately. Prestashop and PayPal are not really answering any questions. I don't think I can be using this platform anymore. It is ruining my business.
  3. Did try turning on debug yet there has been no info pertaining to this. We have also checked if any files are missing and tried uploading again AdminCartRulesController.php to ../controllers/admin/ Our PS version is 1.6.1.3 and the problem has always been there since we upgraded from 1.4.5
  4. "Controller not found" is the error message. It's everything we see.
  5. We have this error in our cart rules: Controller not found Yet all the files are there and I have no idea what went wrong. Since we had previously employed a freelancer to install a coupon add-on a few versions ago, I am suspecting that they might have done something to our database that inherits now to cause that error. I have pasted below the ps_cart_rule table. Could anyone point out if all the settings are correct? Much obliged… Print view - phpMyAdmin 4.0.10.7.pdf
  6. @sonjasonja, I have exactly the same issue and have been posting my questions a couple of times in this forum. Sadly there has been only one response which does not help. I am starting to regret that I have chosen Prestashop for my own shop. There is so little support. Have you found a solution to this yet? Could you share with me your solution?
  7. The best solution is to update PS to 1.6.1.3. Going to the database to re-edit from there is a pain in the neck ( literally ), unless you have very few products.
  8. We have the same issue. When I click on cart rule, it gives an error message "Controller not found". Yet all tables and files are there. This is really serious and yet no one from Prestashop seems to be helping yet. Help from anyone would be much appreciated. 1.6.1.2
  9. I'd like to mention that in the situation of the Google site map, the admin interface of the module gives a different name than what it actually generated. This caused a 404. Could there be some naming of files in the case of the cart rule? What file could have been mis-named? I am suspecting this because when we were using 1.4.5, we employed a community developed module: Lofcoupon, when we first installed it it didn't work. The developer entered our admin and ftp area to fix it. Could they have written something in our database/files to over-rule the native cart rule? Here is the list of database tables we have for cart rule, if this info is of any use for judging what is going on: ps_cart_rule ps_cart_rule_carrier ps_cart_rule_combination ps_cart_rule_country ps_cart_rule_group ps_cart_rule_lang ps_cart_rule_product_rule ps_cart_rule_product_rule_group ps_cart_rule_product_rule_value ps_cart_rule_shop
  10. Well, it has always been there. Any other reasons? Can we reinstall the cart rule "module" one more time to make sure all the files and databases are properly linked?
  11. Since upgrading from 1.4.5 to 1.6.1.2 we have this error in cart rule: Controller not found With this we cannot create any voucher or coupon. How to solve this problem?
  12. @Mexis, I think you deserve the biggest hug from the whole Prestashop user community! Especially those users who need to have both combinations and more than one currency. A big THANK YOU!!!
  13. We have the same problem. We originally used seven different currencies before updating to this newer version, but have been forced to use only USD before we can find a solution. I think Prestashop is very irresponsible if they are not responding immediately to eradicate this "huge" issue.
  14. @fpiombo, the link I posted above does work for 1.4.5 as well. I was looking at the wrong search.php file. The one you should look for is under the classes directory, not the one in the root directory. Another user "saag1" did posted that reminder but I have somehow overlooked it. Now the search module is working for our site again. Hope it help you too.
  15. I have the same problem. Search used to be working, but somehow fails since perhaps I updated the PHP version in my server or since I uploaded a few new products. I am not sure which. Our version is also 1.4.5.1 In this forum there is an entry for the same issue but for version 1.4.7 in < here >. It does not work for 1.4.5 coz the file structure is different. I have been looking everywhere for a solution in vain. Someone please help!!!!!
