The message you received had a link to a patch for version 1.4 to overcome the security issue that is the easiest thing for you to do. If you really want to upgrade you will need to do a lot of research do full backups and upgrade to 1.5 then to 1.6 (allow 4 hours downtime). Hope this helps Keith

Many thanks for your reply. This is my first time with a multi shop so I really appreciate your guidance At the moment I have the standalone on my development server. I also have upgraded a copy of the multi shop it is on my development server. If I make the standalone multi store and add shop 2 and 3 then import the data after editing the shop id I then import the customers and orders. I then fix the themes on shop 2 and 3 I then change the urls from shop 1 and 2 back to the two parked domains. Job done ???

My client has one multi shop (2 shops) and one other shop. I need to add the stand alone to the multi shop. How do I import the data into the multi shop from the standalone? Thanks Keith

Hi maybe of help for someone with the same problem it was in the cache. I simply renamed the old cache directory and uploaded a fresh 1.5.6 cache directory. Problem SOLVED
