  2. Hi, When import language file exported from previous version 1.5.x, it crashed with ISO CODE invalid ...... Is there a workaround? Should be reported as bug? t The problem occurs only if you rename the original gzip file, eg. I rename the original file vi.gzip to vi_prestashop_1.5.2_yyyy_mm_dd.gzip This has not been a problem previously.
  3. Hello, This is my experience using the mobile template so far. I've installed the mobile template on the latest prestashop 1.5 version. It looks great on my Android phone. The mobile template is a stripped down version of the full site but all the essentials are there so I am happy about that. However, it causes the new account registration on the main site to fail. So I went back and disabled the mobile template module to get the new account registration working again. I thought perhaps it's not yet ready for prime time. But I was wrong. The mobile template still works on my phone. How strange. So anyway, everything seems to be working great now for my needs. On the mobile phone,I can do the login and registration, viewing the products, add products to basket and checkout etc.. It is a little annoying where it does a full page refresh whenever I tick a checkbox or change the quantity. I can live that, but there is one serious bug though. I cannot select a different carrier. It does a page refresh and then the old carrier is still selected. I can work around this issue by just having only one carrier, but I hope the prestashop developer can fix this bug soon. Feel free to add whatever else you have found that might be interesting or useful. Thanks for reading.
  4. Hi everyone, I am having problem with the customer follow up cron job. It runs once a day and every time it says no such file or directory. I tried it on two different hosting server but still the same problem. Does anyone knows what is causing it. Is it to do with some missing php script on the server? If it is then perhaps I can ask my hosting provider to install it. Thanks for your help in advance.
  5. I am exactly in the same boat, Bluehost etc... and experiencing the same slow speed of opening page. Before I contact Bluehost tech support, can you share any tips on what might be the problem. Thanks.
  6. Just came across another bug relating to sendtoafriend2 module. This module works if the language is one of the built in languages, ie. English, French, Spanish, German, Italian because there is already an email template for it. The problem for me is when I go to create the email template for the language that I want (Tools - Translations - Email templates) it displays an "Object not found" error and won't let me change the template. It looks like some file is missing or the link to that file is wrong. Anyone knows how to fix this bug. Any suggestion?
  7. I managed to solve this problem which has to do with the address format. If I remove the company field, it will cause the error. So I put the company field back in and the problem goes away. Is this a bug or a feature?
  8. I am using the latest version of prestashop 1.4.7.3 and after installing the new theme 1.5 I cannot add or update the customer's address. I get an error message saying "Invalid token". This problem wasn't there before with the default theme. Has anyone got a fix for this bug, or anyone experiencing the same bug? This is a major bug and it stops me from using this theme.
  9. Just do what it says, leave the API password blank if it has not changed. It works for me. Hope that helps.
  10. Yes, the "hack" from presto does the job but we are trying to get to root cause of this issue and finally I think Fabien has managed to find out what was wrong and so hopefully we can expect to have everything works "out of the box" with the next release.
  11. Don't get me wrong. I very much love Bluehost. I think they are fantastic. It's just this hiccup that is quite annoying. I upload prestashop on another web host Glovine who offers a free web host plan which I used mainly for testing, and everything works out of the box! So definitely, it's something to do with bluehost, maybe it's the way they set up their mail server. It's lucky for us that this problem can be fixed easily otherwise I will have to go elsewhere for web hosting because I cannot have the situation where a potential customer cannot contact us. I am working with Fabien who I think is on the prestashop team, to try and work out what is wrong with bluehost. So hopefully, we won't have to have this hack again.
  12. Hi, With Bluehost, by default the primary domain always start from the root directory. So you will have do a bit of work to tell the primary domain that it is now in a subfolder. Look in the help/knowledge base for instructions. Good luck.
  13. Hi, I am sure that it will work, as suggested by aperio. I've done it with 1.3.1 The thing is I want to know who to blame, is it prestashop or Bluehost. This is driving me nuts. If it's bluehost then it's probably a good idea to go looking for another host. Cheers.
