I am also wondering about this. There are instances when the customer need to be charged for a particular service or product that's a one off. So adding a new product just for that is an overkill and might make the product list full of unnecessary items. Also because our invoices are based on the prestashop numbering system we currently create a dummy order in PS that we mark as cancelled. Then we create an invoice manually using the number generated by PS. An option to actually just skip a number by the invoice generator would be nice (instead of creating an order). Ideally it would be good if PS could just allow to add a one off product where we enter the description and price manually. In the same way that we do it in Stripe or other payment platform. I thought about creating a 0.01 worth product. Then select the quantity according to the price. But the problem of getting the description in the invoice remains. Any ideas or tricks would be welcome here.

Solved. Go to Preferences -> General -> Enable SSL on all pages -> YES

This is a new problem in my shop now. From the customer dashboard downloading pdf invoice is failing. On firefox it shows a "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." message. See picture below. On Chrome it does not show any message and nothing is downloaded. My website has https sorted. Does the pdf download not going through the https for some reasons? How can we solve this? The option clicking on "Allow download" is not a solution as this is not offered on other browsers. Using Prestashop 1.6.1.3.

I encountered the same problem. The LIMIT 0,150 does not solve it. Managed to get it working doing ORDER BY firstname DESC LIMIT 0,150 replace firstname by what you prefer here.

I have had a couple of errors from orders recently. Basically the client is charged less then he should. The order then shows a Payment Error status due to the amount mismatch. I notice this happen using Stripe but can not tell if the Stripe module is the culprit or not. A bit annoying as I have to contact the client to complete the remainder of the payment manually. The last order as example had a total amount of 127.45 (GBP). Only 108.70(GBP) was paid. Client paid in EUR but the ratio does not resemble anything close to a currency conversion. Looking closer the payment difference would maybe correspond to a carrier being applied differently. Any help? prestashop version 1.6.1.3

Some progress on my research. There is module called "Single stock attribute". 40 bucks to buy on funny website. Some people complained it does not work well on 1.7.x. Any other similar module one knows? Some suggest to use the Advanced Stock Management. I had a try. Useless as not offering an automated way of doing it. Am I missing something here? Really seem unbelievable Prestashop does not offer that as standard!! Surely there are many of us with the same request!!

Say one sells computers with different operating systems as option. There is one physical device but client has options to select between different OS. As it stands Prestashop creates as many different quantities as there is options. In the case described above this is not what we want. We need a single quantity to update regardless of the chosen option. I know there are numbers of related post to this (I did my homework). I was wondering if such an obvious necessary feature has now been put as standard in 1.7.x? How do we deal with this case? I kind of started my upgrade process in the hope to solve this.

I have the exact same problem here despite using a captcha. For information I use eicaptcha. However spammers seems to be able to go over it in account creation. Anyone has been able to solve this? Edit: seems that eicaptcha devs are working on it. Hopefully will get a patch for this soon.

in back office orders-->statuses find status 'shipped', edit it and turn off Send e-mail to customer Change the order status and turn on Send e-mail to customer again.
