Module positions greyed Solved

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I have successfully installed 1.37 and also theme366 However, I need to position the modules ot Translpant, for anther term. When I try to change the position form, say Right column, to Left column, the drop down box is gryed out and I am unable to move any mudule.
I thought it may be a user permission problem, but my hosting company says that it is not.
Can anyone advise, please?

Fast Henry,
Had you read my post fully you would realise that I know all that basic stuff.
In fact it was the fault of the template my client had purchased from http://www.template-help.com/ which they did not say that it was only suitable for version 1.32 or earlier. I dislike this unscrupulous type of selling.
I had to uninstall the latest version of Prestashop and reinstall the old version for the template to work.
Thanks for trying,
Clive

Hi

I did read your post fully

and from the post it is not obvious that you know all the basic stuff

I thought maybe you had missed out step 3 from the post I pointed you to

select “Modules” tab
click “Positions” sub-tab
Click “Transplant a module” link (on the top)
Select the module you want to move from Module drop down list
Select the “Left columns Blocks” or “Right column blocks” from “Hook Into” list
Click Save

I was just trying to help you.
