Path not working correctly

Hi

My current 1.2.4 live store is at www.shorts4u.com/shop

My new 1.4.15 store should be at www.shorts4u.com/store

When I enter www.shorts4u.com/store into browser it searches then default to show my old shop at:-

http://www.shorts4u.com/shop/store/en/

Any ideas on this one?

Hi,

Try removing the .htaccess file from the FTP. Make a backup of it on the computer and then delete it from the FTP.

Hi,

My www.shorts4u.com/shop is live and my /store is the test site. If i was to remove the .htaccess file, do I remove it from the shop folder or store folder, or both? If I remove from the shop won't that stop my live site from functioning correctly?

Please can you advise and if you need me to supply more information to help further let me know.
Can any of the moderators also make any useful suggestions

Hi,

Ok I have taken a look at your link and the htaccess file should be ok.

It looks to me like there might be an issue with the directory that your new store is uploaded to

e.g. http://www.shorts4u.com/shop/store/en/5-mens-shorts

My suggestion is to re-upload your store to a directory such as http://www.shorts4u.com/testshop

See if this works.

If you are still having problems then my best suggestion is to put a zip file of the prestashop directory and database on your FTP and I can assist further.
