bonitadreama
Sorry everyone I'm so lost on this... Uploaded 1050 items last night via csv. I uploaded 175 at a time, and once I had finished I noticed that there was only 30 products uploaded.... What do I do???
bluemoon
I might be a little upsetting but if I was you, I first will try to re-upload 175 items, then check their presence in the Db and then one step after the other... I've no miracle in my bag but this could be working

StoCo
Hi,Taking the liberty to join the conversation as given the amount of products you have, perhaps you will be happy to discover that there is a tool that will allow you to process potential bugs automatically and continue your csv imports without having to clean everything up and start all over again. It will also allow you to save your import parameters for a future one-click import. More features on this thread: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/85662/job_offers_and_paid_services/turbo_boost_your_csv_imports_with_store_commander_for_prestashop/ and you can actually try it our free for 2 weeks here: http://www.storecommander.com/lang-en/prestashop/90-demonstrations.html. Please note this is not just an import tool ; you will also be able to manage your Prestashop back office on a daily basis with products, categories, combinations, degressive prices, seo, etc.Enjoy :-)
bonitadreama
I checked the db, the name is not soft. Only 4 out of 20 make it to the db every time. I have 6000 to upload, and @ storecommander I can't afford your products...
bonitadreama
I just tried to upload 175 ended up with 20. This is extremely sad. I have tried in firefox, chrome, and IE. I am running windows 7. I am receiving NO error messages. It always says my csv has been imported into my shop. I'm getting very discouraged. Please help me! Kelvin Koh
Bonitadreama, could you share an example of your csv format? Did you follow the standard (semicolon) csv format as shown in the wiki?Could it be that your products have identical names and they're overwritten during import? gener1c
i had the same problem, i think you can add only 20 items a day
bluemoon
Don't you have any limitation in the size of your db ? It could be a possibility even if this would result in a very very small of mysql database (my base is less than 1mo including around 100 articles). ScubaLessonsInc
it could be either the size of the image files or it could be that you have symbols in your data.. only the short descirption and description can have any symbols at all.. everything else should have only numbers, text and minus sign.. with a few exceptions.. tags remove all spaces and replace with a single comma between each tag. prices you can have a period. Everything else get rid of periods, # symbols, & symbols, underscores, parenthasis, @ symbols, + signs, = symbols, everything like it.. it will cause problems and stop your upload.
