Module missing in 1.7.3.1

Hello

 

 I have installed version 1.7.3.1 for a client a while ago.

Now he asks me how he can show products with reduced prices on the front page.

I remember from earlier versions that there were a module included in the package that did just this.

I don`t remember the name of the module in English as I am using a Norwegian version.

This module is not on the list of installed modules on his installation.

Should it be there ?

If yes, how can I install it again ?

Hi Peter,

 

you don't need a module, it's called "Specific prices" and you can set them at product page.

This does not happen on the site https://www.xn--arbeidsty-s8a.com/

I have made a special price for a product with 20 % reduction and unlimited time

And the product itself shows correctly the reduced price and a -20% tag on it.

But still there is no "SALE" showing on the front page.

Only Featured products are shown on front page.

Do I need to do anything more ?

It still isn't clear to me what you want. Do you want sale tags n products with a discount? Or do you want a tab or a page with all your discounted products. Anyway, such things are a function of the template. So you should look there.

I found this link.

It solved my problem.

It tells that I need to install a free module from Prestashop called "Special Products" and that module brings products on sale to the front page.

And  that is all I wanted.
