Upgraded to 1.7.4.2 - should I move to a new install?

I upgraded from 1.7.3 to 1.7.4.2, and now I can't see the product image properties in BO :-/ Looks like this

Asked a developer for help, and he believes that my DB has errors (he mentioned missing ID's..) after the upgrade. And he suggests that I move my store to a fresh 1.7.4.2 install. 

As this is a rather large project for me I would like to know what you think

- is it not possible to fix this error?
- is it recommended to move to a fresh install?
- is it not possible to fix the DB errors if any?

Hello,

Sometimes fix errors could be more difficult than create a new one. And which is most frustrating is you fix one and after one day day you discover a new one, and so on every so often.

The developer does not know exactly what is wrong so I would not follow their lead.    I suggest finding someone that can fix this for you.  You can post in job section and find young gun that  can help at reasonable price.  You can also find experts to help here: https://www.prestashop.com/en/experts

Can you please check the JS error in Google Developer toolbar? It seems there is some JS error.

I don't think there is any DB upgrade issue related to this. Just to check the same, Check the image_lang table via phpMyAdmin. It should have 3 columns i.e.

id_image
id_lang
legend

One is TrustPilot, other is Google Analytics - don't know what I can do here - uninstall and install modules?

Seems fine, those 3 columns are all there. Only thing that sticks out are there are a number of 'id_image' that has no 'legend' value.. Normal?
