eg Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 tried installation again. i get to the step where i verified all of the database connectivity and that the email works. click next, and watch the animated bar at the top, and then nothing..... the shop then works, however i can't get into the admin because i never set up the account in the installation....i'm pretty much giving up at this point since i can't get the damn thing installed. this error happens on 1.0, 1.1b2, and now 1.1b3.any ideas out there ? i'm up for anything cause i really like this software, just can't get it installed... eg Posted December 3, 2008 Author Share Posted December 3, 2008 could it be the SQL server ??using a local install of wamp server and MySQL client version: 5.0.51a and Server version: 5.0.51b-community-ntit installs just fine and i can run the shopping cart.however, using my hosting provider with MySQL client version: 5.0.51a and Server version: 5.0.51a-communitythe intall fails after the db installation and never goes to step 4.
