Install with existing used DB

Hi!
I'd like to try out PrestaShop a little before going all in and setting it all up properly. My current hosting only gives me one database, where I currently have a wordpress installed. That install prefixed all its tables with wp_.
Is it possible to install prestaShop the same way, into the same DB, with some kind of prefix to the tables?

Sure I can, but they will charge me for it. And since I just want to try prestaShop out before deciding I thought I´d avoid the extra cost if possible.
But I guess it´s not a standard option in the installer then?

So if its just to try and avoid paying a few penny every month, then why don't you install it on local?

Yes, I could do that, just wanted to ask if this is a built in feature. Would be better to try it out on the actual environment to make sure it's properly equipped and see loading speeds and such. But a local copy would work for now.

Yes, PrestaShop installs with the ps_ prefix by default and you can change it on the installer.
