Prestashop Themes 1.2 vs 1.3

Hi

I'm looking for a prestashop template for a new client and I just read here
http://www.prestashopthemes.net/themes-prestashop-1-3-available.html
that Prestashop 1.2 is not compatible with 1.3

Can someone tell me why that is?

It is nature because different version of PrestaShop may have different layout, different structure, different parameters at GUI layer. Also there are some different variables, definition, settings ans so on.

So when you buy themes, please check the version very carefully. There are many professional designed themes available at the link at the end of my signature.
