[Solved] Urgent Help Required!

Recommended Posts

I recently came upon the following error dialogue whilst updating text on the Homepage via the Back Office in "Modules"

Home text editor

Unable to update the editor file.
Please check the editor file's writing permissions.

Can anyone help please? Urgently?

Thank you

Yemmi

This forum has also very useful search button. How I remember - I have answered for this question many times. So I test with search and using search term: "Home text editor" - I get lot of topics with the same problem.

So I make copy of one them:

You have to set permisions to CHMOD 777 (writable) on directory /modules/editorial/ and then on editorial.php, editorial.tpl, editorial.xml and then it should be working.
