[SOLVED] SMS customization in Prestashop

Hello everyone.

I was looking out for a way in which I can receive an SMS when an order is confirmed.

For SMS integration other than Prestashop, I do the following :

1. I have an URL eg. http://smsServiceProvider.com?mobileNo=423423453-content=myContentGoesHere

2. If I put this on the browser's address bar and press , I get the sms message "myContentGoesHere" to the mobile no. 423423453.

3. Alternatively, when in a form when the 'Submit' button is pressed, a php file gets called which has the above URL, and I receive the SMS.

My query is, where and how in Prestashop, should I write the above URL so that it gets executed when an order is confirmed ?

Have you tried the "SMS Tm4b v1.1" module that comes with PrestaShop? It is in the Tools section on the Modules tab. It has many options on the configuration page including new order notification.

I have tried Tm4b. But it gives Global I, Global II and USA Direct only.
I have an account with none of them.
It would be great if you could suggest me how to get an account with them.

Well Patanock seems to have had significant development in this regard. Interested people may contact him in this regard. For me, I have got my answer, which is, that one will have to loosen his wallet for this facility.
