(SOLVED)How to attached a file to a product?

Hello,

I'm trying to attached a zip file to some products so customers can download for free. I tried the Attachment option on Back Office but even though the file is there in attachment list I don't see it in the product page.

There's any specific way that I am missing in the process or is not possible to attached files to product pages?

After adding a product in the Catalog >> Attachement tab, you must affect this attachement to the product in the product page, with the 7. Attachments tab.

If it still does not change work, make a try with the PrestaShop default theme.

I thought attachments to products were only available after the product was purchased, not from the product page.

I'm not sure why you thought that. Attachments are different from "Downloadable products" and can be downloaded for free on the "Download" tab of the product page.

Ahh ok thats where i was confused, i dont use the attachments or downloads which is obvious now.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was just using the 7.Attached on product page before...

Anyways I did what you suggested it works on the prestashop theme, but didn't the Download Tab didn't show up in my theme. Maybe the space is to small...

I'll do something else like create a CMS page for the free downloads guess it'll be easy as I have a custom template.
