Sending Test Order Emails

Hi there,

I'm new to Prestashop, and am carrying out some customisations on the emails sent out (both the customer one, and merchant email using the mailalerts module).

Is there a way to test the emails that will be sent without actually making an order?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can go to Orders > Statuses, edit a status, select the email template you want to view in the "Template" dropdown, then click the "Preview" icon that looks like an eye next to the dropdown. This lets you open the template in your browser, but it doesn't put in any test data. You must complete an order to see an email sent with data included.
