[SOLVED] Are the Customer confirmation emails different to the emails we receive?

Hi all,

I have done a search and couldn't find the answer so I thought I would post.

I customised the emails in the mails/en directory and they get sent through to the customer fine, no problems. However when I receive a confirmation of a new order it reverts back to the old style for some reason. I have emptied the tools/smarty/cache & compile folders and I still dont receive the updated email.

Does anyone have any ideas?
