.htaccess rewriting (hiding a folder) problem

Hi!
My problem is that i want to hide a folder in the URL. As a lots of people i installed the prestashop into a folder ( prestashop ) so my adress is www.something.com/prestashop.
I activated the frendly URL in the options so i have an .htaccess file whit thiss code:

I want to hide that prestashop word in my URL. I tried some modifications in this code but not worked.
If some know the trick pls help me.

i have the same problem (www.cardtoshop.com/prestashop)

i try to redirect a subdomain to main domain without result

www.cardtoshop.com/prestashop/ ---> www.cardtoshop.com

if any one find solution please post it here
