[Solved] On Installation browser gives me blank page?

Hello,
I have uploaded PrestaShop files on the server, but on typing the URL it gives me blank page, I checked the source code, still nothing on it either.
The server is running on PHP 5 now (just got it upgraded from PHP 4.4)

I am typing this (with my website name )
http://mysite.com/prestashop
But not getting anything

Note: I just uploaded the files to the server, no CHMOD anywhere or anything

It would be great id anyone can help me on this one.

No problem....PM because earlier post was with actual URL where prestashop installation was located... Have advice to change it to http:mysite.com....


The solution : You should type in for your case

http://www.mysite.com/prestashop/install

which should work

Hi,
Well what mike told me was to type this in url

http://www.mysite.com/prestashop/install

instead of just

http://www.mysite.com/prestashop/

And it worked, I got the installation screen up and running.
