[SOLVED] Adding more than 255 images per product

Hello everyone,

I am new here, but love PrestaShop. I am currently using it to create a multilevel attribute combination product. However, I have a problem as I need to upload approximately 500 images per product, due to the number of combinations. The problem is that once I reach to 255 the systems starts to repeat 255, as you can see with the screenshot: (repeatimages.jpg).

So, if anyone knows how I can increase the number of images I can upload per product as well as making sure it lets increase the number of positions without repeating them as shown in the screenshots.

I am really desperate about this issue, it really looks like it is a simple fix, but I cannot find it myself, I am trying to find it myself. I looked everywhere for this.

It seems a bit odd, I'm guessing you're not getting any responses because on one has tried it before.

To recreate the problem, one would have to load 255 images, which is quite time consuming, and another possible reason why you are not getting any responses...

Which version of PS are you using?

I am using PS version 1.3.1, which is the latest not the beta.

Yes, it is indeed time consuming, but the only way I found to do this. Any ideas how to increase the limit?

In the ps_image table of the database, the 'position' field is defined as a 'tinyint(2)'

Try to modify the defintion of this field into 'int(4)'
